Boasting modern and contemporary luxury with a twist of Polynesian charm, this stunning island escape is situated on the northern coast of Upolu, 5 minutes from Apia, on its very own private island – connected to the mainland by a 90m causeway.
The resort is designed and built to take in the spectacular panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the rich green mountains of the main island. It is set across 14 acres of lush green grass, tropical gardens, and gently swaying palm trees. The resort also has two separate private beaches for in-house guests to enjoy.
There is a total of 104 rooms and villas, in 4 different categories to select from. All rooms & villas are spacious and well appointed, and are fitted with air-conditioning, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, spacious bathroom, tea & coffee facilities, fridge, telephone, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, in-room safe, free limited wireless internet, and a private balcony.
There are interconnecting rooms available which are two adjoining rooms (Double and King), sharing a common vestibule accessed by one main entrance. These rooms are available for families only.
Taumeasina Island Resort has a variety of facilities available including, two restaurants & two bars, two large swimming pools as well as a children’s pool, a day spa & sauna, indoor & outdoor gyms, tennis courts, a children’s playground, conference room that caters for up to 500, and a business centre.
There is a wide selection of activities to stay entertained. Snorkel and admire the underwater world, or adore what’s above on a kayak, or catamaran. The introduction to diving lessons held in the resort pool is a must try. There are also daily programs for the children (aged 5 to 15 years) which come in handy for parents who want some quiet time to themselves.
For something more cultural, there are Samoan cooking classes, and Island Tours should you wish to explore what Upolu has to offer, but one of the highlights of anyone’s stay would be the resorts weekly cultural show, which should not be missed.
