Signature Experience — ECO TRECKING
Signature Samoa is a new tour operation, commencing business in 2017, but we have had good discussions with them and sincerely believe that this company will deliver the real Samoan experience without any commercial connotations They are community based and work closely with their villages to showcase the importance of family and Samoan heritage. Signature Tours are environmentally conscious so although pricing may be a little higher than regular tours, the experience is 100% authentic and the tour contributes significantly to the local village projects and surrounding ecologies that they have formed relationships with. The East Coast Tour is certainly a favourite as it gives a special look in on what the island of Upolu has to offer, including the opportunity to explore some of mother natures spectacular creations.
Pick up for this half-day tour will be between 9 and 9.30 depending where
you are staying, and commences with a walk across volcanic fields, discovering medicinal plants and what they can be used for.
We explore the coastline of the coastal walk and include the hidden caves of Togitogiga en route to the Blow holes on the coast.
We then move to Ole Pupu’e rainforest and hike to the Giant Ma Tree to marvel at the amazing root structure that fans out either side of this natural wonder.
You will have the opportunity to view the local birdlife and also plant a
native tree in Samoa’s only recognised Carbon Offsetting site
Lunch is served at Togitogiga waterfalls where you can have a swim if you
wish, before we pack up and head back to your accommodation
