Signature Experience — East Coast Tour
Signature Samoa is a new tour operation, commencing business in 2017, but we have had good discussions with them and sincerely believe that this company will deliver the real Samoan experience without any commercial connotations
They are community based and work closely with their villages to showcase the importance of family and Samoan heritage. Signature Tours are
environmentally conscious so although pricing may be a little higher than
regular tours, the experience is 100% authentic and the tour contributes
significantly to the local village projects and surrounding ecologies that
they have formed relationships with.
The East Coast Tour is certainly a favourite as it gives a special look in on
what the island of Upolu has to offer, including the opportunity to explore
some of mother natures spectacular creations.
If you are staying on the South Coast of Upolu, your tour begins with a visit to the To Sua Ocean Trench – voted top 5 watering holes in the world. Here you can enjoy a refreshing swim, explore the botanical gardens, or laze in one of the fales and enjoy the stunning views of the ocean.
Your tour then continues on to Lalomanu Beach where the waters are crystal clear and the snorkelling is one of a kind. Your delicious lunch is served
here before a drive through Lemafa Pass which is 350 metres above sea
level to marvel at the tallest mountain on the island (Mt Fao).
Your last stop is for another refreshing swim in the cool waters of the Piula Caves, before heading home through the mountains of Upolu, where you have the opportunity to see the islands tallest waterfall—Papapapaitai Falls.
*If you are staying in Apia, your site visits are reversed and will begin with a
visit and swim at the Piula Cave Pools, then its on to Lalomanu Beach for a
snorkel and swim, before your visit to the To Sua Trench. On return to Apia,
your tour ends with a visit to Papapaitai Falls and Look out Point.
