Signature Experience — Cooking with Culture
Signature Samoa is a new tour operation, commencing business in 2017, but we have had good discussions with them and sincerely believe that this company will deliver the real Samoan experience without any commercial connotations.
They are community based and work closely with their villages to showcase the importance of family and Samoan heritage. Signature Tours are environmentally conscious so although pricing may be a little higher than regular tours, the experience is 100% authentic and the tour contributes significantly to the local village projects and surrounding ecologies that they have formed relationships with.
Your pick up for the tour will be 9am and rendezvous at Sinalei Resort at 9.45 am. Guests will then depart for the plantation where they will assist the guide in collecting the produce that will be used in the Cooking classes and for the meal that you will have later in the day. You will have all the plants explained to you.
It includes a visit to a local farmers house, where you will learn the process of making Samoan Hot Chocolate, before sitting down to enjoy a cup of freshly roasted coco-beans. Next wander across to the village Jam factory, where you will be invited to tour and taste a mixture of local fruits in a jar.

water and non motorised water sports equipment to swim etc the freshwater
ocean spring out front of the resort’s restaurant.
At 12.30 guests are invited in to the restaurant to commence the cooking classes
with your private Chef and of course, guests will have the opportunity to sample
the food you are cooking. The tour will finish around 3pm at which time, transfers
are offered back to your pick-up point.
Should you wish to stay for sunset cocktails or dinner, the Tours guide can arrange
