Pension Relais Royal Tikehau
Located on a private islet, not far from the main village, the Relais Royal Tikehau boasts of three characteristics of the Tuamotu Archipelago: a beautiful pink sand beach on lagoon side, the coral reef ocean side, and finally? the narrow channel at the entrance of the guest house, where lagoon sharks and colorful fishes come to enjoy the current.
It is also a peaceful place where Polynesian life is in the spotlight: the local style bungalows, the warmth and festive atmosphere, delicious cuisine… good memories guaranteed!
Location
Located on the neighboring islet from the airport, at about 10 minutes by boat.
You will be welcomed at the airport fora short drive (about 5 minutes) to get you to the boat. There is no other home than the guest house on the islet. Flower lei given at the arrival.

Dining - Entertainment Features
The restaurant of the guest house is at the edge of the lagoon, partially over the water. You will overlook the beautiful turquoise lagoon & can observe small lagoon sharks & many other fish, feeding them with bread or your left-over.

Mainly International & Local food. All dishes include fresh fish and/or seafood. For all stays over 6 nights, the pension will order & serve meat if requested by the clients. Polynesian dances & music are performed every night.
The bar is located next to the restaurant & living room (beers from 5€, cocktails from 10€…)

A beautiful pink sand beach is located in front of the Beach & Superior Beach bungalows. The lagoon facing these bungalows is perfect for snorkeling. Clients could walk to the reef from the guest house.
The living room, located in the main building next to the bar, is the perfect place for reading, and features a hi-fi. A room is dedicated for the games, with tennis table and billiard…
The tiny “Mahana shop” behind the reception will provide you with pareos, mosquito repellent, postcards, local handy craft … Lagoon fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Speargun fishing & Boat Tours available.
We strongly recommend that you pre-book some activities in advance, only way to guarantee availability.

Rooms are located on the ground or 1st floor of a small building. Rooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. They feature bedside tables and a wardrobe.

Room & Half Board
The rooms are located on the floor of a central building in the middle of the islet of the pension. Each room has its private bathroom. 2 units are communicating. All have views onto the large common terrace. These categories are ideal for small budgets or small groups. Not suitable for honeymooners.

HOA Bungalow & Half Board
The Bungalows “Hoa” n°2 & 3 are facing the channel separating the pension from the main islet on which lies the village. The terrace of bungalows fringe the channel & offers an unobstructed view over the fish coming here. Despite the lack of beach in front of these units, the clients have access to the beach located in front of the Beach & Superior Beach Bungalows.

Beach Bungalow & Half Board

Beach Superior Bungalow & Half Board
Bungalow of the same size and the same situation as the Beach Bungalows. This unit is particularly suitable for honeymooners, with a canopy bed and its white decoration. This bungalow also features a desk.

HOA Family Bungalow & Half Board
This bungalow is located channel side, next to the n°2 and 3 HOA bungalows. It is ideal for families as it offers a maximum capacity of 6 persons with 1 bedroom with a double bed and 4 single beds in the living room. The large private terrace offers a breathtaking view on the channel and the various tropical fish.

Superior 2-Bedroom Bungalow & Half Board
The SUPERIOR DUPLEX is larger than the other bungalows and is located on the HOA side (between 2 islets). It is composed of two separate units, interconnected by a wooden walk path.
1 bungalow n°8A with 1 double canopy bed and a very large bathroom. This unit can accommodate an extra bed for one person. The maximum capacity is 3 adults. 1 bungalow n°8B with 3 single beds and a private bath room
Common to these two units a comfortable lounge with terrace and mini bar. The SUPERIOR DUPLEX is naturally ventilated (no air conditioning necessary) and offers a traditional style of decoration. This unit is ideal fora small family ora group of friends traveling together.
