Vincent and Anne-Marie will welcome you in their little property, Pension de la Plage, ideally located near a shopping center, a bus stop, a car rental office, the Museum of Tahiti and her islands and above all in front of an access to a white sand beach – you just have to cross the main road. Swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon, farniente by the pool at the guest house and many other activities will fill your days. The rooms and studios are air-conditioned, spacious, comfortable and decorated in Polynesian style. You can choose to have dinner at the “table d’hôtes”, cook in your studio or taste one of the of several “roulotte” – small typical ambulant restaurants within walking distance from the guest house.
Pension de la Plage is an eco-friendly property: the guest house is equipped with solar water heaters and solar photovoltaic panels, the remaining fruits from breakfast are cooked to make jams, vegetable and food waste are turned into compost, bins are sorted for recycling, cleansing products used and soaps provided in rooms are biological… So many significant efforts to preserve our beautiful island!
Pension de la Plage Location
Pension de la Plage is located 20 minutes drive from the aiport / 30 minutes from downtown Papeete
No welcome amenities for arrivals or departures
Guests get picked up by the guest house’s taxi from their arrival port and driven directly to their own rooms, whatever the pick up time. The driver gives all explanations needed in regards to the room and then indicates the reception (open between 08h00 and 19h00)

Continental buffet breakfast served in the fare pote’e from 06h15 to 09h00 from Monday to Saturday and from 07h15 to 09h00 on
Sunday :
fruit juice, homemade or local jams, cheese, bread, boiled eggs, season fresh fruits, hot drinks.
1-Course Lunch set menu is served at 12h30 (mixed salad)
3-Course Dinner set menu is served at 19h30 (except on Sunday, no dinner served. Small restaurants are available near the pension) Cocktails on request, wine list, local beer. Choice of teas.

Snorkeling equipment and reef plastic shoes available. The guest house is located just in front of an access to the largest white sand beach of Tahiti with nice snorkeling.
A car rental office is located near the guest house.
Various excursions available with pick-up at the guest house; we highly recommend to pre-book a few excursions in order to guarantee availability.

The rooms are spacious and well equipped with large cupboard, small refrigerator, flat screen TV, bamboo furniture … It can comfortably accommodate 4 people in a colorful decor: “tifaifai” bedspread, exotic painting on fabric created specially for the guest house… All rooms also feature a small terrace with table and chairs, overlooking the garden or the swimming pool.
