Initiation Dive by Topdive

Located in the heart of the Intercontinental, the dive center TOPDIVE is ideally located for easy access to dive sites used for initiations. You will discover, for your first time, a multitude of colorful tropical fishes and you can even put you in command of an aircraft sank! 

Highlights

Get picked up from your hotel At your arrival at the Top Dive Center you will be introduced to your personal diving instructor and complete snorkeling gear will be remitted according to your size.

Your instructor will then give you a good explanation of the diving process, and the basics to know before getting in the water Once on board, the boat will take you to the Aquarium, famous diving spot of Tahiti well known for is extraodinary sea wild life and shipwrecks. You will be fully equipped by your guide and taught how to breathe underwater.

Once in the water, follow the instructions while enjoying a real under marine ride up close and personal with all sorts of fish. Back into the boat, while you take your diving gear off, the boat will make its way back to the Top Dive Center Transfer back to your accommodation.

Schedules (transfer time from hotels not taken into account) – Morning Tour 10h30 on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; Afternoon tour 14h00 on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; Sunday at 11h15

Pick-Up / Drop-Off – Intercontinental (on site), Tahiti Nui, Tiare Tahiti, Sarah Nui, Airport Motel, Manava, Tahiti Ia Ora (ex Le Meridien), Pension de la Plage, Relais Fenua.

Children Info – A minimum age of 12 years old is requested to participate to the tour.

Important Remarks

Itinerary and order of the visited sites may change without prior notice according to weather conditions or other circumstances.

Most excursions require healthy conditions. Pregnant women/disabled guests/babies… our services must be notified in advance!

Our water activities require guests to know how to swim, to be comfortable in the water, and able to cope with occasional currents. Guests are cautioned not to touch or step on the coral reef, or touch any underwater animals for safety and environmental reasons. We recommend reef shoes in order to avoid any wounds or discomfort. Wildlife sightings are likely but never guaranteed.

All tours have been regularly tried out in order to give the most accurate information and advice. Each guest should carefully review the tour description to evaluate its own physical limits.

Guests are recommended to wear comfortable appropriate attire including shoes (walking, water or hiking as needed), sun protection (cream, hat, and rash guard), insect repellent, sunglasses, and bring a bottle of water.
