Hiking at Mount AORAI 1st refuge - Full Day / Moderate Level (Lunch not included)

Go on this moderately difficult hiking trail for breathtaking views of Tahiti, the ocean and surrounding valleys. The Aorai is Tahiti’s third highest mountain and peaks at 2066 metres: you will hike up to the 1st mountain hut at an altitude of 1400 metres. You need to be fit and healthy for this invigorating hike. Lunch not included during this tour.

Pick up from your hotel or pension Stop on the way to purchase luncheon from a grocery store Drive up the Belvedere Road toward the Belvedere Restaurant Start walking from there, at your own pace follow the trekking path After a few hours you will be reaching the first mountain refuge located at an altitude of 1400 m Lunch,rest and photo shooting time before walking backward .

Important Remarks

Hiking tours may involve strenuous and lengthy hike over uneven terrain, uphill and downhill trails, and under limited shade. This kind of activity is recommended for guests in very good physical condition.
