A circle island tour of Bora Bora with 5 main stops that will show you a sample of Bora Bora island’s rich culture:
Marae Hau Puni: made of several platforms, this huge property is surrounded by an arboretum and medicinal plants. Ancient objects were found on site during the restoration.
WW2 remains: cannons and bunkers dating from World War II located on the top of a hill, guns are facing Bora Bora’s unique pass. This is also a great viewpoint on Vaitape pier and Bora Bora’s lagoon.
Mama Ruta’s Pareo workshop: this is the opportunity to learn how pareos are tinted and patterns printed. You can also buy on choosing your colors and this will be delivered to your hotel a few days later. Season fresh fruits sampling and restrooms available.
Stop at the Matira white sand beach, the most famous place in Bora Bora and the best place to enjoy the beautiful colors of the lagoon.
Stop at the Bloody Mary’s restaurant, the oldest restaurant on the island renowned for its fish and seafood menu as well as for the list of celebrities who stop there for dinner.
Last stop is at “Hiro’s rock”: learn about the legend about this imposing rock like coming out of nowhere. 2 other cannons are also accessible from this point via a path with a panoramic view on Raiatea and Tahaa.
