How to Get There
Domestic Air Transfer from Nadi Airport via Fiji Link which takes approximately 40 minutes.
The ride to the resort takes about 45 minutes depending on the tide and weather conditions.
Rate Inclusions
Accommodation package includes accommodation and all meals. Free use of kayaks and snorkelling on house reef with complimentary snorkel gear. Complimentary return tranfers for minimum 4 x nights stay or more.

Stays of 3 nights or less will be charged an additional transfer fee each way.
Documentation
All scuba divers must be medically fit to participate in SCUBA diving activities and hold current certification from an accredited and well recognized diving organization. Proof of certification will be requested prior to diving. Guests will be required to sign liability waiver and assumption of risk documents prior to participation in any water based activities. (For example, the standard PADI Boat Travel & SCUBA Diving Assumption of Risk forms). Refusal by a guest to sign such documents will prevent the resort from providing such activities. No refunds will be given in circumstances where a guest refuses to sign the appropriate documentation.
Mandatory Diving Insurance
All guests wishing to dive with Matava Resort / Mad Fish Dive Centre must have insurance that covers Diving and present that evidence when checking into the dive centre. Diving Insurance must include coverage for emergency local and international air evacuation and chamber costs if required. If a guest fails to provide Matava Resort , Kadavu, Fiji Islands Class: 3.5 Star evidence of adequate Diving Insurance, they will not be permitted to dive. If they are unable to provide evidence of such insurance, they will still be charged for any diving booked as part of an all-inclusive Package

Built in the traditional thatched Fijian style bures, with large airy louvre windows, Queen size timber four poster beds and private decks. The expansive full length picture windows open onto a private deck with views across the ocean. Surrounded in beautiful tropical gardens and immersed in lush rainforest the Oceanview Bures are a true heaven of privacy within the beauty of Fiji’s natural environment. All bures have new private facilities and expansive private decks. Solar power provides night lighting in the Oceanview Bures for night time reading and comfort. Hot water is supplied to all the bures by a eco-friendly Solar Hot Water system.
Matava Adventure Honeymoon Package – All Year Rate
Honeymoon Bure (4) Maximum Capacity 2 pax (1 King Bed).
The top-end Honeymoon Bures are scattered widely on the hill behind Matava to ensure complete privacy and stunning vistas. Built in the traditional thatched Fijian style and finely finished with polished mahogany timber floors, large airy louver windows, King Size timber four poster beds and private decks. The expansive full length picture windows open onto your private deck with views across the ocean. The Honeymoon Bures are each nestled in their own nook in the rainforest to offer privacy, comfort and superb ocean views. Surrounded in beautiful tropical gardens and immersed in lush rainforest the Honeymoon Bures are a true heaven of privacy within the beauty of Fiji’s natural environment. All these new design bures have new private facilities and expansive private decks. Solar power provides night lighting in the Honeymoon Bures for night time reading and comfort. Hot water is supplied to all the bures by our eco-friendly Solar Hot Water system.

Packages do not include: Airfares, dive gear hire, beverages, bar tab at the resort, activities unless stated or any other purchases. The resort supplies tanks and weights included in the price of any dive. All dives are boat dives unless otherwise stated.

Child Policy
Matava does not accept bookings for children under 12 years.
Bookings for families should be discussed on an individual basis.
Booking Policy
Matava Resort reserves the right to refuse to book any person as a guest or activity participant for any good and just cause, such as that the applicant’s health, conditioning, attitude, temperament, diving qualifications, preparedness (or any other factors) make him or her unfit, especially if that person might be a hazard to the safety, comfort, enjoyment or peace of mind of any other guests or staff.
Minimum night stay:
Matava Experience Package – Minimum 3 night stay.
Matava Adventure Honeymoon Package – Minimum 5 night stay.
Scuba Dive Kadavu – Minimum 5 night stay.
Payment Policy
Full payment for FIT bookings is due at least 30 days prior to guest arrival. If a booking is made within the payment due period, full payment is due upon receipt of their invoice.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled outside of 31 days, no fees applies.
Bookings cancelled within 30 days of arrival, 100% cancellation fees will be charged.
