The Garden Island Resort is situated on the island of Taveuni just
15 minutes from the domestic airport at Matei. It is conveniently
located close to all land based activities and on the doorstep of the
legendary Rainbow Reef. The resort consists of 30 rooms offering
spectacular views of Vanua Levu and the Somosomo Strait – home
to the Rainbow Reef.

Land Based Activities includes Eco Tours & Adventures journey
through national rainforest parks, costal walks where the jungle
meets the ocean, visit gorgeous white sand beaches and waterfalls
that plunge into the sea. Visit secluded spots like Devoux Peak
where you might spot the Tagimoucia flower, found only on
Taveuni, or the Orange Dove and the Silk tail, rare bird species
only to be found on the island. Take in the stunning landscape on
horseback, enjoy natural waterslides and waterfalls, and visit the
local villages or head down to the water sports centre to go
kayaking or snorkelling.

Ocean View Rooms (15) have the maximum capacity of 3 adults or
2 adults and 1 child under 12 years (1 king can split into 2 twin and
1 single bed.)
Ocean view rooms are on the first floor with private balconies.

screen with DVD players, mini fridge, tea and coffee making

Ocean Front Room – All Year Rate
Ocean Front Room (15) have the maximum capacity of 3 adults or 2
adults and 2 children under 12 years (1 king can split into 2 twin, 1
single bed and 1 cot).
Ocean Front Rooms are on the ground floor, large with private
outdoor patio. Room features king size bed (split 2 twins), air
conditioning, flat screen with DVD players, mini fridge, tea and
coffee making facilities, modern en- suites, electronic safes and
telephones.

Fed by the nutrient-rich waters that flow through the Somosomo Straits, Taveuni’s Rainbow Reef is home to world class dive sites
including, the Great White Wall, The Zoo, Barracuda Hole, Yellow Tunnel, The Ledge, Annie’s Bommie, Blue Ribbon Eel Reef and much
more. The resort has a fully equipped PADI 5 Star Dive Centre on site with professional and friendly dive crew.
PADI Dive Courses:
All courses include dive gear, manuals and teaching materials. Referrals are accepted from most certifying agencies. All students must
complete a medical and liability form prior to starting a course.

At an additional cost, honeymooners will receive a fruit basket in room upon arrival, 2 sulus (Fijian sarongs), 60 minute traditional bobo
(Fijian massage) for the couple and private candlelit dinner for two at a romantic location (weather and tide dependent).
Spa Packages
Garden Island Nature Spa is adjacent to the sea and surrounded by a water feature with water lilies. Indulge yourself in a spa massage
and relaxation therapies with the exotic Pure Fiji fragrant oils and organic sugar scrubs.
Spa Treatments includes 1 hour massage with the option for relaxation OR Fijian traditional Bobo (deep tissue) with Pure Fiji Virgin
coconut oil infused with local flower fragrance.
Wedding Packages
A Fiji marriage is legally accepted worldwide. Passports and birth certificates are required. Divorce decree is necessary if either party
has been previously married. Participants must be minimum of 21 years of age. There are options for the wedding location at the resort
from beach, lawn, poolside or the pier with spectacular views of the ocean and sunset.
Wedding Package Includes wedding license and fees, minister or celebrant & witness, two Fijian flower girls and two warriors in
traditional costume, wedding bouquet and flower arrangements and single tier wedding cake.
Complimentary Bonus for the Newlywed Couple (If married at the resort) includes fruit basket in room upon arrival, 2 sulus
(Fijian sarongs), 60 minutes traditional Fijian Bobo (massage for the couple) and private candle lit dinner for two at romantic location.
Other wedding Options (at an additional cost) weddings can be arranged with the following options; Fijian Band (4 hours),

Child Policy
Children 12 years and under are free of charge when sharing with 2 adults in one room.
Payment Policy
A deposit of 3 nights per room is payable within 14 days of confirmation of booking.
Balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.
Non- payment of deposit may result in the release of the room.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled 4 weeks prior to arrival, will incur a charge of 50% of the total deposit.
Bookings cancelled 3 weeks prior to arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking value.
Bookings cancelled within 3 weeks of arrival (including no shows and early departures) will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking
value.
All cancellations must be received in writing. All payments are non -refundable. The resort highly recommend comprehensive travel
insurance as funds are not given due to late arrival, premature departure, or otherwise unused services, including those related to
weather or aircraft timetable delays.
