Matamanoa Island is a small, boutique, private resort located in the Mamanuca Islands off Fiji, just 10 minutes by helicopter from Nadi Airport. The resort caters to couples with a selection of accommodation to suit all budgets. Private secluded villas, sunrise and sunset beachfront bures, all with plunge pools, cabana, twin day bed and outdoor shower. All villas, bures & rooms are fully airconditioned. Pristine waters surround the island, featuring excellent snorkelling in the surrounding marine sanctuary and the island is home to several beautiful white sandy beaches.

Effective immediately from 01 November 2022 to 30 April 2022, Beachfront Villa with Plunge Pool will be closed every year.
How to Get There
Catamaran Launch Transfers -South Sea Cruises fast Catamaran departs from Port Denarau, and takes approximately 90 minutes.
Private Speedboat & Water Taxi Transfers — operate to and from Port Denarau and take approximately 1 hour (weather dependent).
Private Speedboat & Water Taxi Transfers – Mamanuca Express and Sea Fiji operate private transfers to and from Port Denarau and take approximately 40 minutes (weather dependent).
Helicopters – – depart on demand from Nadi Airport and take approximately 12 minutes. Helicopters operate in daylight hours only.

- Check out time is 10:00am.
- Pre-registration is needed and applicable accommodation rates apply from the day before check in.
Day Rooms
There is a complimentary day room for use for any early check in or late check out. Should guests wish confirmation of early arrival check in or confirmation of a late check out then they must book a day prior to check in and a day after their check out dates.

With its ease of luxury, you will fall in love with the Bure; whether it’s to awaken in bed and gaze upon the magnificent and intricate tapas on the ceiling, relax in your spacious and beautiful lounge, take a dip in your own private plunge pool and then indulge with a book in the shade of your thatched daybed. Only steps away to walk along the pristine white sand beach.
Beachfront Villa with Plunge Pool - All Year Rate
Beachfront Villas (10) have the maximum capacity of 3 Adults. (1 King Bed & 1 Sofa Bed).
The Villas feature two split level rooms, the bedroom is positioned on the upper level with a super king bed facing the Pacific Ocean, double wardrobes, two luggage racks, desk, air-conditioning and overhead fan. The lounge is positioned on the lower level. Bathrooms feature twin granite vanities, a separate shower and separate toilet. Each Villa is also beautifully appointed outside with outdoor furniture on a generous covered deck leading on to a private plunge pool and thatched gazebo with day bed. Additional outdoor shower with access from the beach or plunge pool.

Church Minister, two Fijian Warriors and one Fijian Bridesmaid to lead the bride down the Tropical Isle, dressed in Cultural Fijian attire, Bridal Bouquet either posy or trailing or flower tiara, groom’s buttonhole or flower lei and an elegant pair of Jennifer Heath pearl studs for the Bride to wear on her very special day or as a keepsake, 24 Images shot by Matamanoa staff member and presented on a USB, not a professional photographer but has photographed many weddings.
Important Note
Should selected wedding package inclusions not be utilized or required, they cannot be substituted for other services. Wedding Optional Extras are available on request at an additional cost. Should the couple wish to have a celebrant officiate the wedding in preference to a minister a supplement applies in addition to the Basic Wedding Package. This cost is available on request.
Child Policy
Children under the age of 16 years are not permitted at the resort.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival (including no-shows and early departures) will incur a charge of 100% of the total booking. Amendments made within 14 days of arrival that reduces the number of nights booked will incur cancellation fees. This policy is subject to change at the discretion of the resort.
