AKURA FISHING CHARTERS Rarotonga
Located just off the main road just 2 minutes out from the Avarua Township is where you will find the Akura Fishing Charters, down at the Avatiu Harbor. Providing the best fishing charters here in Rarotonga, Akura offers a completely authentic Cook Islands fishing experience. CAPTAIN TAMA’S LAGOON CRUISE
To begin your tour you will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to the departure point in Muri. You will then cruise across the beautiful Muri lagoon to a protected reserve where many species of marine life dwell. You will have the chance here to snorkel and feed the fish before heading to a motu (small islet). On the motu you can enjoy more swimming, a stroll around the island or just relax in the sun while your friendly crew prepare a scrumptious Fish BBQ lunch served with local fruits and side dishes.
ARIIMOANA WALKABOUTS—INLAND DISCOVERIES WALK
Exploring the island with guides Kura and Jacopo offers a personable and

Well-known by the locals as a talented guitarist and singer/songwriter, Kura Happ—owner and tour guide of Ariimoana Walkabouts, is also an eco-warrior with a very deep passion for caring for nature and the environment. Kura has spent over 10 years learning about this fragile ecosystem and the importance of protecting it for the future, she has also worked closely with local authorities on several marine protection projects. When not entertaining on land, this selfconfessed mermaid can be found in her element, exploring and learning more about the ocean.
