Summer Cruise for Educators
Itinerary:
Day 1 (July 5): Arrival
Our drivers will pick guests up at the Cabo (SJD) or La Paz (LAP) airport and transfer to the ship in La Paz. Anticipate a beautiful 2.5 hour drive from the Cabo Airport.
Once guests have boarded the ship we will depart for the islands.
Day 2 - 5: At Sea
Today we begin our research and adventure at sea. Areas to be explored include; Isla Espiritu Santos, Isla Partida, Isla San Francisco, Isla San Jose and Isla Pardito.
Anticipate lots of snorkeling to stay cool and wildlife viewing as we carry out our research!
Research projects will be time limited and not be the focus of the expedition.
Day 5 - 6: Disembarking and Hotel Transfer + 2 Night Hotel Stay
We will arrive back at the docks in La Paz, on Day 5, and disembark at 9:00 am. Guests will then head to either the East Cape or West Cape on a half day adventure.
After your adventure, hotel check-in and the rest of the late afternoon is yours to relax and spend at the hotel pool or strolling the famous seawalk the “Malecon”.
While at the camp we will be engaged in earth science studies to include; geology archaeology, and ecology.
Day 6
A free day to explore the beautiful city of La Paz!
Day 7 (July 11): Departure
Hotel check out and our drivers will return guests to the Cabo or La Paz Airport for your return flight home.
