Island Escape Cruises has a beautiful new 54-metre passenger ship launched in 2021. Designed in Norway to accommodate just 32 guests, she comes complete with a heli-pad, stabilisers, tender boats, eco-friendly propulsion and a stylish interior.
Island Escape operated under a 20-year cruise permits from the New Zealand Government to explore the entire World Heritage Fiordland National Park. Virtually isolated with access by sea or helicopter, this region is beyond sensational and often described as the ultimate nature lovers paradise. They also cruise the world-famous Bay of Islands over Christmas and New Year during the New Zealand summer season.
New Zealand winter, the vessel relocates to the South Pacific where for three months it calls Tahiti its home. Small ship voyages are perfect for this tropical paradise, with a casual while sophisticated french influence, first class activities and superb amenities. On leaving Tahiti, Island Escape ventures out into the South Pacific to explore a few of thousands of gorgeous islands waiting to be explored at a comfortable pace and style. The ship returns to New Zealand to enjoy the summer season in the beautiful Bay of Islands.
