Weather
French Polynesia is located between the equator and the Tropic of Capricorn. It encompasses around 2.5 million sq km of ocean, and consists of 5 main archipelagos which are the Society, Marquesas, Gambier, Austral and Tuamotu Islands. The climate in each of these archipelagos is different and unique.

Aranui Group Booking
The Aranui welcomes up to 2 groups on each sailing. Please keep in mind however, that the Aranui 5 only accommodates a maximum of 250 passengers in total.

Join the Aranui 5 on its voyages through the South Pacific. Here you will have a chance to visit the exotic Marquesas Islands.
The Aranui departs from Tahiti then visits islands such as Fakarava, Ua Pou, Nuku Hiva, Hiva Oa, Fatu Hiva, Tahuata, Ua Huka, Rangiroa, Bora Bora and back to Papeete (itineraries may vary).
Aranui Cruise to Pitcairn Island
Far and Away Adventures has two voyage options to Pitcairn Island. We offer this 254 passenger freighter ship which sails once per year to Pitcairn Island, as well as a 12 passenger supply ship on one week voyages from the Gambier Islands. Visit our Gambier to Pitcairn page for more details.
2021 Marquesas Festival
Prior to 1986, many people in the remote Marquesas Islands were worried that ancient traditions and cultures would be lost if a concentrated effort was not made to preserve them. From this concern, the cultural organization known as “Motu Haka o Te Fenua Enata” was established as they organized the first Art and Culture festival on the Marquesas Island of Ua Pou.

US Dollar Prices
US dollar pricing applies to all residents of the United States, Canada and Asia. Aranui prices are per person based on double occupancy. Rates are valid on standard Marquesas sailings. Supplements apply on special itineraries. Rates include 3 meals with complimentary wine, guided excursions, picnic and meals onshore.
Euro Prices
Euro pricing applies on all bookings unless you are from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Asia or the United States. Prices are per person based on double occupancy and include 3 meals with complimentary wine, guided excursions, picnic and meals on shore. Optional excursions such as scuba diving, fishing, horseback riding and helicopter tours are additional.
Australian Prices
Australian pricing applies to all residents of Australia. Prices are per person based on double occupancy and include 3 meals with complimentary wine, guided excursions, picnic and meals on shore.
New Zealand Prices
New Zealand pricing applies to all residents of New Zealand. Prices are per person based on double occupancy and include 3 meals with complimentary wine, guided excursions, picnic and meals on shore. Optional excursions such as scuba diving, fishing, horseback riding and helicopter tours are additional. New Zealand dollar prices include taxes.
Canadian Prices
Because we have an office in Canada, we allow you to pay for the Aranui in Canadian dollars. You may make payments in any of the following 4 ways.

CPTM Terms and Conditions of Contract BY ACCEPTANCE of this contract ticket, whether or not signed by him or on his behalf, or of passage on the vessel, each Passenger agrees that the terms and conditions, which are incorporated herein as part of the Passage Ticket Contract, shall govern the relationship between him and the Company and be binding in every possible contingency.
