Parasailing

Go for a 8 to 10 minutes solo fly over the lagoon of Moorea. From the Cook’s or Opunohu bay, at the end of a 150m long rope, you will have this amazing experience to discover this island from the air. The turquoise of its lagoon, the deep blue of the ocean, together with the greens of its mountains will ravish the photographs. Moorea Green Pearl – Golf

Designed by the famous golfer Jack Nicklaus, this international 18-hole course was opened in 2007. It is just minutes from Moorea airport and the ferry port. Moorea Green Pearl is picture perfect. Holes 1-9 are perfectly positioned around clear ponds whilst holes 10-18 are uniquely positioned in the middle of an extinct volcano with some of the best views in the world.

 

Hiking the 3-coconut trail (moderate level) – Half Day

Set off from the Belvedere and hike through the forest where your guide will teach you about Polynesian plants and their uses. The trail will take you to the pass that looks over the island’s crater, mountains and lagoon; the perfect place to sample some local fruit before heading back for a swim in the river.

Panoramic Tour around the Caldeira (athletic level) – Full Day

The hike begins at the entrance to the volcano then up to the Col des 3 Cocotiers and the Belvedere. After a well-deserved picnic, your guide will then take you to the Col des 3 Pinus via archaeological sites where you will learn about Polynesia’s past. This great hike wraps up at the foot of Mount Rotui and the Bounty Plateau.
